This week I officially called it.  I put myself on the sidelines, dusted off the bench, started shining my cleats, and massaging the pitcher’s arm.   I am officially not booking any sessions until further notice (most likely the spring of 2014).  Besides this ever growing belly (my maternity shirts have turned into belly shirts and don’t ask how I still manage to lay on the ground for certain shots!) I have had a few pretty normal but painful complications in my pregnancy.  These side effects make pulling off a portrait session pretty painful and dreaded.  Don’t worry, I am still fulfilling previously scheduled sessions and meeting with 2014 prospective brides and grooms!  I’m in high hopes that a few weeks of massages, chiropractor visits, and super duper gentle yoga that I’ll be back to normal (all midwife approved and suggested approaches) just in time to deliver this amazing baby!

I remembered that a few months back I shared our pregnancy announcement but never shared the full session.  These images are too cute and in light of my woeful announcement I’d like to bring a smile to your face with an adorable and playfully proud big-sister-to-be.  I can’t say enough how glad I am to have these images.  It was a super fun way to share with the world that we were in fact expecting and keeping great memories.  If we ever decide to bring another child into our family, I would without a doubt announce by photo again.  Since this announcement has made airwaves, I have had the wonderful opportunity to photograph two more unique and wonderful announcements.  If you are missing an idea, but want to book a session, I’d love to help (once I’m back from maternity leave that is)!
