If there was one thing I regretted with my first child, it was not having her newborn days professionally documented. At the time, I was still an amateur hobbyist and thought I’d be able to lug out my gear and capture every perfect and beautiful moment. Boy was I overestimating how much energy I would have being a first time mom! I have a few portraits, but they were nothing compared to what I would have gotten had I hired someone to document. I also would have been able to get some images of myself with my first little baby.
Newborn sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite types of sessions to take. Not only are my subjects mostly happy or sleepy (witht he aid of mommy and some milk), but it’s a special time that only lasts a few weeks and then they become larger. They grow, they change, and become less little. And honestly, I love the littles!
Today’s little man was a true gem to work with. He has an amazing family that I am super happy to call friends.
