We had already moved our mini-session once due to weather and were quickly closing in upon welcoming winter's dreaded super cold days. If we moved back another weekend we were sure to get temperatures in the 40's and no leaves on the trees. If you've ever had a cold weather photoshoot, you know it's only for those who really don't mind the cold. The biggest thing I battle in cold weather shoots is rosy cheeks and runny noses. They are tell tale signs that clients are uncomfortable, and the photos will show it when families are uncomfortable. So on this particular day we made it work and ran from the rain. The weatherperson said we might have rain off and on and the sun would tease us and then hit us with random downpours and lightning storms, so we opted to find a covered area in Ann Arbor. I was super happy we managed to snap a few images in between people hustling to where ever they needed to go on this given weekend day.
This session turned out just super beautiful. I love working with the uber photogenic N family.
